Compliance model
This is the part that decides whether the product survives, so it is written down where everyone can read it.
DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and Hard Rock have no public betting API. Their terms prohibit automated wagering, bots, scripts and account access by any third party. A tool that logs into a member's account on a server and clicks “place bet” would get the member's account closed and funds frozen, and puts everyone in proxy-betting territory. So HyperWager doesn't.
Two ways a bet reaches the book
DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and Hard Rock. HyperWager never touches the member's account. It sends a notification; the member taps it; the book's own app opens with the pick on the slip; the member places the bet inside the book. Location, identity and responsible-gaming checks all run inside the book, on the member's phone, in the member's state.
Kalshi, Polymarket and Novig are exchanges that let a member connect outside software to their own account. The member creates the connection inside their account, pastes it into HyperWager once, and can revoke it there at any time. Orders go to the member's own account, in the member's name.
Rules the build respects
- No storage of sportsbook usernames or passwords, ever, for any book. Exchange connections only, and only for the exchanges.
- No server-side sessions with any book the member taps to place. No headless browsers, no screen automation, no reverse-engineered mobile APIs.
- No location spoofing, VPN routing, or location help of any kind. If the member isn't where they need to be, the book says so and HyperWager shows that honestly.
- The member is the bettor of record on every wager. HyperWager never holds member funds and never places a bet the member hasn't authorized, either by connecting an exchange account or by tapping Place Bet.
- A gaming attorney reviews the no-tap flow and the terms before public launch.
How the slip is pre-loaded
Sportsbook apps can be opened by a link that puts a specific selection on the bet slip; affiliate sites use these links in public every day. HyperWager only sends pre-loaded slips: the notification opens the book's app with the selection on the slip, and the stake as well wherever the book's link carries it. The stake is always shown in the notification.
